Campbell Alliance Landmark Study
The 2011 Dealmakers' Intentions Survey
Now in its third year, the Campbell Alliance Dealmakers’ Intentions Survey is the only forward-looking measure of deal-making activity in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. While there are many quality sources of information that look historically at past deal trends, this survey offers a prospective view of the partnering and licensing landscape for the year ahead.
For the first time, this year’s survey results represent input from all of the major pharmaceutical markets including:
- 61.1% of respondents from the United States
- 17.5% from Europe
- 11.1% from Canada
- 8.7% from Japan
- 1.6% from other regions
The survey results are split into four key areas, including Expectations and Intentions, Valuation, Organization and Process, and Strategic Implications. There were a number of interesting finding across all four of these areas.

However, the results of this study are much more impactful and applicable to any company’s business situation when they are delivered in person. If you would like to request that a Campbell Alliance team member present the full survey results to your organization and discuss its implications for your business, then please click here.
