Description:

Joe Dillon, Senior Practice Executive, Campbell Alliance, will lead a discussion on maximizing the value of product candidates and technologies through a structured deal approach.

Abstract:

Partnering deals in the pharmaceutical industry are a key vehicle to maximizing the value of many products and technologies. The competition for these deals is fierce and the stakes are high. This workshop will provide a realistic look at what it takes to identify the best partners and close a deal that preserves the strategic, operational and financial intents. This session will examine actual data analysis that reveals "sweet spots", or optimal times, to partner in order to maximize asset value. Secondly, this session will walk through a structured approach to identify, examine and measure factors important to the deal. This session will apply those factors in a "high-throughput" partner search. Finally, this session focus on how to preserve all this careful thought in the negotiated deal structure.
