Heads of Training Core Sessions

George Schmidt from Campbell Alliance, Carol Wells from Genentech, and Mike Capaldi from Sanofi-Aventis.

As leaders of learning in a dynamic industry, we are often faced with many challenges in ensuring that our learning strategies evolve with industry and organizational changes and have meaningful impact.  Your organization is looking for your leadership to be able to be ahead of the trends and to partner on strategies that will drive new knowledge and skills to remain competitive, and in some cases, survive.

This year’s SPBT Conference will offer learning leaders (Directors, Heads of Learning, VP's) a unique opportunity to work with peers to:

  • take a peek at the future of our industry, interpret trends, and identify the impact on roles and learning in your organization
  • clarify the evolving role and responsibilities of Learning & Development
  • define how to transform your Learning & Development organization to meet new organizational demands
  • examine measurement strategies and create plans to help you assess the impact of learning
  • develop a “playbook” for identifying, prioritizing, and addressing organizational gaps and individual development needs

We have gathered several thought leaders to drive engaging dialogue, and to challenge you to make the changes you need to drive organizational impact through your learning and development strategies.  We will be offering 6 core workshops throughout the conference that will help you refine and develop your thinking, strategies and plans to strategically partner in your organization.  In addition to leveraging some of our SPBT thought partners including George Schmidt from Campbell Alliance, Carol Wells from Genentech, and Mike Capaldi from Sanofi-Aventis.
